Three Years ago, Novelis, the world's largest recycler of aluminum, challenged US Habitat Affiliates to collect aluminum cans for recycling. They backed the challenge with grant money directly to local affiliates.Since the program started, our ReStore has joined the challenge. The returnables have been coming in by the bagful. ReStore friends have brought in more than 20,000 cans. Funds from the Novelis Grant and the money collected when redeeming the deposits have had a significant impact already. The can collection program and Novelis grants partial funded the energy saving, LED lighting renovation of the ReStore. The Novelis grant program will continue through the end of this year. Please drop of your returnables in the blue-topped bins at the ReStore. Novelis

It's this tomorrow!, August 23, 2024.It will be five years since we opened the ReStore doors at our new location on Rice Street. Our customers have embraced the new location and both 2022 and 2023 were record years for ReStore sales. It’s our turn to embrace our customers (metaphorically, of course, no hugging). We’ll celebrate with hotdogs, chips, drinks, and a cake. And no ReStore celebration would be complete without a sale. Donna has announced that we will be offering an addition 25% off your entire purchase after the color discounts. Ashley furniture in stock, which is normally excluded from these sales, will be 10% off. You cannot redeem punch cards during these sales, but you will get punches for your purchase. We'll see you Friday from 10:00am until 5:00pm.https://lnkd.in/dF4pJZkm
